Sammy and Daddy at the Turner Field!

Our first game out at Turner Field was fantastic! Braves won 6-3 (a sweep of the Rockies) and boy was there alot to get excited about, here is a short list of things we experienced; two home runs, triple play initiated by Chipper Jones, one broken bat, one bat launched to the stands and a cool close out by Kimbrel! That was just a portion of what we saw, good stuff indeed. It was Sammy's first trip to a MLB game. My own early memories are of those with my dad going to Yankee Stadium to see the likes of Reggie Jackson, Craig Nettles, Willie Randolph, etc... So it was nice that Sam got a little bit of his own memories getting started. The visit to Turner Field was also one of my better visits to a pro-field, very courteous all around. A great visit, just wish Beka would have been with us.
